Each year, the Bethpage Best of LI polls Long Islanders to lay down a roadmap “to the best, top-notch businesses and services throughout both Nassau and Suffolk counties.”

Organizers of the contest have been counting votes since it began, with the winners ultimately chosen by the Long Islanders who rely on those businesses each and every day.

This year, Kwong Ming, a popular spot in Nassau County on Jerusalem Avenue in Wantagh, earned the top honor in 2022, representing the third straight year that owner Barry Lee and his staff have earned the distinction.

“Second-generation owner Barry Lee started his career as a waiter and delivery boy and has run the eatery since 2000,” organizers of the Bethpage Best of LI said. “His restaurant accommodates health-conscious customers by using vegetable oil and less salt in each dish in addition to incorporating a variety of healthy ingredients.

“Kwong Ming can cater your next celebration and accommodates large groups or parties for corporate catering, birthday parties, communions, graduations, bridal showers, anniversaries, and much more.”
